At SG Elite Ltd, we are driving innovation in civil and geotechnical engineering across a range of sectors within the UK and Ireland.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in civil engineering. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of multiple projects, from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth of SG Elite Ltd by leading key projects across a range of sectors and collaborating closely with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.Key AccountabilitiesManage projects ranging in value from £50,000 to £2 million across various sectorsDefine project scopes, methodologies, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client expectations and business goalsDevelop and maintain detailed project plans and budgetsLead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycleMonitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to agreed timelines and deliverablesEnsure project compliance with company policies and proceduresProactively manage project costs and work to improve efficiency and profitabilityMaintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring best value on materials and servicesConduct site visits and assist SHEQ coordinator to ensure safety and quality standards are consistently upheldFacilitate project close-out and lessons-learned reviews, identifying opportunities for process improvementPrepare and present regular financial and progress reports to senior managementRepresent SG Elite Ltd professionally in all dealings with clients, stakeholders, and external partnersExperience, Qualifications and SkillsMinimum 3 years of proven experience in project management within the civil or infrastructure sectorsStrong technical knowledge of civil engineering and construction methodologiesExcellent communication skills. with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry professionalsDemonstrated understanding of commercial project delivery, including financial metrics, budgeting, and profit marginsStrong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and MS Project (or equivalent project management tools)Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices within the construction industrySelf-motivated and target-driven, capable of working independently and within a teamHighly organised with excellent planning, reporting, and problem-solving skillsNEC4 project management is desirable NEBOSH Construction is desirable Full clean UK driving licenceCompetent in the English languageHours Monday to Friday - 40 hours per weekAdditional informationThis is a Hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week at our centrally located Belfast City office Travel may be required BenefitsCompetitive salaryAnnual leave entitlement of 30 days including public holidays (flexible)Ongoing training and development opportunities
