Are you ready to accept our challenge?Key ResponsibilitiesTo act as the scaffold design engineer for a scope of works at nuclear new build power stationTo ensure all designs are developed and adhered to during the erection of Temporary WorksProduction of drawings using the latest AutoCAD and other Autodesk softwareCreation of detailed engineering calculations in accordance with the relevant British and European standards using structural analysis software where requiredProduction of all relevant documentation in adherence with company, along with CDM regulationsLiaison with partner Design management, JV partners, operational supervisors and client representatives to ensure optimum solutions are reachedProvision of guidance, advice and technical support where applicable.Checking of designs in accordance with BS5975Qualifications and ExperienceHNC, HND or Degree in civil, mechanical or structural engineeringMinimum 3 years - experience in the design of scaffolding structuresProblem solver, organised, ability to prioritise and deliver within a high-paced environment.I.T. literate and fully proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.A working knowledge of structural analysis software would be a distinct advantageCommitment drive and the ability to work on one’s own initiative.Major Project Experience, DemonstrableWhat is in it for you:In return for your hard work and commitment we offer a competitive salary, 25 days’ holiday, and the opportunity to part of our exciting journey.Quite simply, a journey with Altrad begins with a desire to create a better tomorrow…
