Head of Financial Planning Support £65,000 – £80,000 + Exceptional Pension + Excellent BenefitsHybrid – Tonbridge, Kent (3 days in-office, 2 days from home)We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established wealth and asset management firm, part of a leading international banking group with a strong presence across the UK. Known for its client-centric approach, long-term thinking, and financial strength, the firm delivers investment management, financial planning, and private banking services to high-net-worth individuals and families.This newly created Head of Financial Planning Support position plays a vital leadership role in supporting a national team of Financial Planners. You’ll manage a large and geographically dispersed support function, helping ensure high-quality, consistent service delivery and operational efficiency across the UK.You’ll oversee a team comprising:12 Financial Planning Administrators 4 Client Services Administrators 3 Team Leaders Reporting to the Head of Wealth, you’ll lead by example to drive performance, enhance service delivery, and embed a culture of excellence across all support teams.Key responsibilities include:Leading and developing a high-performing Wealth Support team across multiple UK officesEnsuring timely, consistent support is provided to Financial Planners and their clientsOverseeing workflows, allocating resources effectively, and managing day-to-day operationsSupporting recruitment and ongoing team development through coaching and mentoringEmbedding a customer-first culture and operational best practice across the teamWorking closely with senior management on service development and process improvementWe’re looking for:Proven leadership experience within wealth management, financial planning, or private bankingA strong background in operations, service delivery, and team managementExcellent communication skills and a collaborative approachA proactive mindset with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and customer careWhat’s on offer:£65,000 – £80,000 salary depending on experience15% non-contributory pension schemePrivate medical insurance Life cover, income protection, annual health screeningGym subsidy, virtual GP, cycle-to-work scheme, season ticket loanFlexible hybrid working: 3 days in-office, 2 from home, with travel to other UK offices as requiredIf you're an experienced people leader ready to make a lasting impact in a forward-thinking wealth management environment, we’d love to hear from you.
