Technical Event Project Manager (Contractor) Life Sciences EventsLocation: Remote (UK-based) | Contract A leading healthcare communications agency is seeking a freelance Technical Event Project Manager to support the design, planning, and delivery of custom exhibition booths for global pharmaceutical clients.This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in booth builds, who enjoys working across creative, logistical, and stakeholder-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced, international environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end technical delivery of exhibition booths for European congressesWork cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to scope, plan, and execute projectsLead briefings with designers, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate build logisticsTravel onsite to oversee builds and ensure smooth deliveryEnsure all technical elements are delivered to high standards, including AV, rigging, Wi-Fi, electrics, and H&S complianceAbout You5+ years’ experience in technical event or exhibition project management, preferably within life sciencesStrong understanding of booth construction, venue limitations, and technical specificationsProven ability to work with international clients and suppliers under tight deadlinesConfident managing budgets, timelines, and creative/technical briefingsFluent in English; other European languages a plus
