Title: Project ControllerType: ContractLocation: Reading - 3 days a week onsiteDuration: 3-6 Months (Extensions likely)About OvyoOvyo works globally with companies in the TV, Media, Aerospace and Satellite communication industries including some of the top household brands. We are working on a mix of long-term customer engagements and shorter consulting projects, quickly fast tracking their experience within the industry, and their career.Responsibilities:Schedule Control: Maintain and update detailed project schedules using Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools, tracking milestones, dependencies, and delays.Budget & Cost Tracking: Support forecasting, budget monitoring, and cost control across multiple projects, reconciling resource allocations and spend against forecasts.Reporting & Visibility: Produce regular dashboards, variance reports, and executive summaries, contributing to PMO reporting packs using tools like Power BI and Excel.Risk & Issue Management: Maintain RAID logs, support mitigation planning, and chair or contribute to risk review meetings.Change Control: Track scope change requests and assess their impact on timelines, costs, and resources.Procurement Support: Assist with managing procurement timelines and documentation for suppliers and subcontractors.Governance Support: Collaborate with the PMO to ensure adherence to delivery governance, portfolio timelines, and quality standards.Tool Ownership: Serve as a superuser or key contributor to PPM tools, ensuring efficient use and adoption.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Programme Managers, Engineers, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to support cross-functional delivery.Requirements:Experience: 3–7 years in a Project Controller or PMO Analyst role, ideally in aerospace, defence, or complex engineering environments.Skills: Strong analytical abilities, excellent stakeholder communication, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Tools: Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or similar PPM tools.Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt to hybrid delivery approaches.Certifications: PRINCE2, APM, P3O, or similar certifications are desirable.Sector Experience: Experience in space, defence, aerospace, or telecoms sectors is advantageous.
