We are seeking individuals with outstanding science and medical communication skills to enhance our team.Our mission is to support our clients' communication objectives by fostering impactful engagement and storytelling with a diverse audience, including institutional investors, strategic partners, physicians, scientists, patients, and caregivers. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of our field, with expertise spanning corporate communications, medical and scientific communications, product communications, and strategic advisory.Position ResponsibilitiesAssist in the execution of key corporate communications strategies and development of materials, including corporate and product messaging documents, press releases, corporate and conference presentations, and more.Develop and maintain strong media relations, with an emphasis on established relationships with key media outlets in the U.S. and, preferably, local media across the EU.Proactively identify media opportunities and secure coverage in top-tier and trade publications.Serve as a key point of contact for media inquiries and coordinate interviews, briefings, and press events.Create well-structured and comprehensive deliverables that effectively communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to relevant senior stakeholders at a pharma company.Develop strong and sustainable relationships with clients across multiple geographies and appropriately manage client expectations.Develop and implement messaging across communications channels ensuring accuracy and consistency.Gain and maintain a deep understanding of client’s science, their competitor’s science, and how they fit into the landscape; provide strategic counsel to clients.Collaborate with LifeSci Communications departments, including creative, digital, and media teams, to execute strategic communication plans.QualificationsA minimum of 2 years of experience working in communications or public relations in the biotech, pharmaceutical, medtech, health-tech, and/or diagnostics industries.Demonstrated experience in media relations, with a strong network of established media contacts in the U.S. required and preferably in local media markets across the EU.Postgraduate degree strongly preferred; PhD a strong plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision in scientific detail.Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Ability to collaborate with colleagues, teams, and clients across multiple geographies.LifeSci Partners is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
