We offer free onsite parking and a shuttle bus service from the station.About the role: 12 month FTC / HybridWe’re looking for a Planner to join our Planning team at Ocado Logistics.In this shift-based role, you’ll be responsible for planning and managing labour resources across logistics operations. You’ll help ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time to deliver a seamless grocery experience.You’ll work closely with multiple teams and partners, using data to drive decisions and proactively resolve challenges.What you’ll be doing – key responsibilities:Plan and manage logistics labour resources to meet operational demand while maintaining KPIs (e.g. overtime, surplus)Maintain accurate Time & Attendance data for logistics employeesManage rosters, holidays, and employee availability, including requests and shift swapsForecast labour needs and liaise with agencies, monitoring fulfilment and performanceIdentify resource constraints and capacity risks, escalating where neededCollaborate with Operations, People teams, Finance, and other departments to ensure efficient resourcingSupport continuous improvement, suggesting process efficiencies and cost-saving opportunitiesHandle internal roster queries in a professional and timely mannerOccasional travel to other UK sites requiredAbout you – what we’re looking for:Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise in a fast-paced, changing environmentExcellent communication – confident speaking with stakeholders at all levelsExperience in resource planning or logistics is an advantageStrong admin and customer service background with high attention to detailProficient in Excel, Google Suite and MS OfficeProactive, analytical and solutions-focused mindsetFlexible with shift patterns, including weekends on rotationAdditional info:Fixed Term Contract (12 months)Interviews held via Google Meet – two stages with a mix of technical, behavioural, and experience-based questionsGreat opportunity to learn more about the role and team during the processWhat you’ll get in return:At Ocado, we believe in a workplace where everyone feels valued.
