Job Title: Mechanical Design EngineerSalary: £36,000 – £66,000 (depending on experience)Location: Falmer Type: Permanent | Hybrid – 1–2 days/week in the office, plus 2 days/month on siteMake an Impact Where It MattersWe’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing team delivering high-impact water and wastewater projects. If you’ve got at least 2 years of mechanical design experience in the water industry, we’d love to hear from you.This role is open to engineers at various levels—what matters most is solid water-sector design experience and a proactive approach.With AMP8 ramping up, the team is doubling in size—so there’s real potential to grow with the business.About the RoleYou’ll focus mainly on outline design with some contract and on-site involvement to keep things varied. Here's how the workload breaks down:70%: Mechanical design20%: Contract/framework support10%: On-site collaboration and problem-solvingYou’ll be working closely with other disciplines to shape practical, sustainable engineering solutions that make a real-world difference.About the CompanyOur client is a leader in critical infrastructure and sustainable water treatment.
