Having been established for 10 years, the firm has recently been acquired by Make UK, allowing for exciting plans for growth and progression.are looking to recruit an experienced employment solicitor to join our team based in the Sheffield office with remote working where preferred. The firm delivers specialist and holistic HR and legal services to individuals, businesses and charities across the country and to a variety of industry sectors.You will be utilising your experience providing support to clients on matters from end to end including employment tribunal representation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with autonomy and flexibility within a forward-thinking firm with a solid reputation as a specialist in the industry, offering seamless HR and legal services.Responsibilities Providing comprehensive and timely advice and assistance to clients on all matters pertaining to employment law and employee relations either in person, telephone or in writingConducting employment litigation in the Employment Tribunal end to endDrafting/reviewing contracts of employment, policies, procedures and other employment related documentsPreparing and presenting seminars and training on employment law and employee relations issuesSkills & Experience Previous experience in an employment law position, ideally working with both claimant and respondent clientsKeen to offer practical and cost-effective solutions to meet our clients’ needsAn excellent communicator able to tailor their style accordingly to suit people from different cultures and backgroundsWilling to deliver presentations and training, although training will be providedPossess excellent communication skills to influence and negotiateHave a flexible and pragmatic attitudeWork collaboratively and flexibly with peersPersonable and able to build relationshipsWe offer a flexible way of working and a friendly, collaborative team atmosphere.
