Elsdon Group are working with a leading Wind Turbine manufacturer. Who have a strong presence in the UK, delivering multi-MW projects. They are currently looking to add an Commissioning Engineer to the team in the UK. This role is remote, but you will be required to be on site on a rotation basis. This could be anywhere in the UK.The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Site and Project team to deliver new projects, major repairs and maintenance. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.ResponsibilitiesAssist with on-site management to ensure project successEnsure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlinesCommissioning of MV/LV systems Scoping LV and MV electrical worksAssisting sales team to deliver bids/tendersQualifications/Experience Wind industry experience is not necessary but would be an added bonusMust have solid experience commissioning LV/MV systems Willing to stay away from home on a rotation basisFamiliarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
