This maternity leave contract runs until December 2025, offering 20 hours per week. About UsGoudhurst Vets boasts a close-knit team of vets, supported by registered veterinary nurses and staff. Our facilities include ultrasonography, radiography, in-house blood machines, a surgical suite, and separate dog and cat wards, helping us maintain Silver Cat Friendly accreditation. ResponsibilitiesWork cases thoroughly and build strong client relationships, delivering high standards of care. Share in Saturday morning consults on a 1:3 rota (no OOH work). Ideally possess at least 2 years' post-graduate experience. Experience with routine surgery and diagnostics is preferred; confidence with sole charge is essential. Experience with both small animal and first opinion equine practice is desirable but not mandatory. We can accommodate a 100% Small Animal role if preferred.
