This role involves creating a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing, managing knowledge resources, and ensuring that the firm's knowledge assets are accessible and useful to not only the firm but as well as our clients.The Knowledge Manager must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable building and executing a strategy with limited support. This role will lead a reimagining of our current knowledge management approach and will require someone who thrives in a hands-on, autonomous environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Implement KM Strategies: Design and execute knowledge management strategies that align with the firm's goals and objectives.Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of knowledge sharing across the global firm by organising training sessions, workshops, and other initiatives.Resource Management: Oversee the management of knowledge resources, including databases, document management systems, and other KM tools.Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to identify knowledge needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.Content Management: Ensure that all knowledge content is up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible.Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives and make improvements as necessary.Market Development Tracking: Regularly track new developments and resources in the information and legal research market and identify opportunities to enhance the current KM offering.Knowledge Support for Business Development: Provide tailored research, market insights, and other support to assist global stakeholders in their business development efforts.Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to promote and support KM initiatives and tools.Required Qualifications, Skills, and ExperienceQualifications:Bachelors degree in Law, or a related field.Skills:Strong understanding of knowledge management principles and practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in KM tools and technologies, including AI tools.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in knowledge management, preferably within a law firm or legal environment.The OpportunityThis is a unique chance to contribute to a growing organisation at the forefront of legal innovation.
