Were delighted to support a high end residential developer located in Worcestershire as they expand their technical team with an Assistant or Technical Coordinator. Our client is proud to design and build high-quality homes, creating communities where people genuinely want to live.Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants.There is now an exciting opportunity for a technical professional to join the business in a role that can be shaped around the successful candidates experience. The person they appoint will work closely with their Senior Technical Manager and report directly into the Operations Director.Our client is looking for individuals with experience in the house building sector, ideally from an architectural or engineering background, with a working knowledge of AutoCAD highly desirable. Key Responsibilities:Liaising daily with external consultants to ensure timely and suitable design servicesCoordinating with Building Control and Warranty Providers to facilitate legal completionsAddressing day-to-day construction queries from site teamsEnsuring Part L compliance and maintaining photographic recordsTendering to multi-utility providers and overseeing design implementationManaging Section Agreements through to completion (paperwork and site works)Reviewing and commenting on supplier drawings and technical submissionsSupporting the legal process relating to technical legal agreementsLiaising with Housing Associations and Management CompaniesProcuring SAP assessments and EPCs About You:This role would suit a confident, self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to managing their own workload. Youll thrive under pressure and meet deadlines with ease. A strong communicator, youll bring creative thinking to technical challenges and have a passion for delivering quality within the built environment.Youll also need to demonstrate the ability to build strong working relationships and work cross-functionally to achieve successful outcomes, while supporting colleagues across departments. Candidate Requirements:Minimum of 2 years relevant experience within residential developmentUnderstanding of Building Regulations and technical processesExperience working with multi-utility providers and Housing Associations (desirable)Knowledge of planning processes is desirableProficiency in AutoCAD is advantageousA-level education or HNC qualification preferredFull training and ongoing mentoring will be provided for the right individual who demonstrates potential and commitment to developing their career.
