Full manufacturer training is provided, so specific brand experience is not required. You will also receive regular training at Volvos training and development centre to keep you up to date with the latest technology.Key responsibilitiesService and repair vehicles of all makes and modelsCarry out PDI/preparation of new/used vehicles to manufacturers standardsTo carry out all work effectively and within the manufacturer repair timesTo accurately record all details on the relevant job card(s)Ensure all work is carried out to high/manufacturers standardsCarry out MOT tests on a range of vehicles in accordance with DVSA guidelinesTo maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction at all timesTo maintain and update your individual experience, skills and knowledge through training programmesKeep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety standards and requirementsBe able to liaise effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite, professional and efficient mannerWhat youll bringWhether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we would be interested in talking to you.A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures.Full UK Driving licence.Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace.MOT License would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered.Whats on offer25 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays)Staff mental/physical health & wellbeing supportContributory pension schemePrivate medical insurance after 3 years serviceLife insurance after 3 years serviceDiscounted car purchase schemeDiscounted service/parts/bodyshop schemeStaff new car schemeManufacturer training and developmentStaff referral schemeBirthday and year end giftsWorking hours: 8.30-5pm Monday-Friday, plus Saturday on a rota 8.30-12.30pm.Salary: (depending on level of experience) + overtime availablePlease note we can only accept applications from candidates who are eligible to work in the UK without Sponsorship.Volvos Retailers welcome applications from candidates of any background who have relevant repair, maintenance, and servicing vehicles experience, including those from other industries who have transferable skills and competencies.
