Void Manager Social Housing MaintenanceIs this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.Location: Kingston upon ThamesType: Permanent, Full-TimeWe are working with a leading maintenance contractor that delivers responsive repairs and void refurbishment services for a key social housing client in Kingston upon Thames. Due to ongoing contract growth and strong performance, they are seeking an experienced Void Manager to take ownership of their voids programme.About the RoleThe Void Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of all void refurbishment works. This includes managing a team of operatives and subcontractors, ensuring properties are turned around within agreed timeframes, budgets, and to the required quality standards. The role also involves regular liaison with the client and other stakeholders to ensure expectations are consistently met or exceeded.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all void works from initial inspection through to completion and handoverManage and coordinate site supervisors, trades, and subcontractorsConduct pre- and post-inspections to ensure compliance with scope, standards, and qualityMaintain tight control of programme and budgets to meet KPIs and contract targetsEnsure all works are delivered in line with health and safety and CDM regulationsWork collaboratively with housing teams, lettings officers and asset management teamsMonitor and report on operational performance and progress against targetsProvide regular updates and attend contract review meetings with the clientCandidate RequirementsProven experience managing void refurbishment works in the social housing sectorPrevious experience with a maintenance contractor or DLO delivering housing contractsStrong leadership, organisational and communication skillsSound knowledge of building maintenance, compliance and H&S standardsSMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS qualifications preferredFull UK Driving LicenceWhats on OfferCompetitive salary with performance-related bonus and benefitsCompany vehicle or car allowanceLong-term contract stability with a well-regarded maintenance providerSupportive management team and clear development opportunities
