Summary An established construction company is seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to lead commercial operations from their Leicester head office, overseeing a wide-ranging portfolio of active projects.About the Client Our client is a dynamic and growing construction business known for delivering complex and diverse projects. With a strong presence in the market, they offer a supportive and collaborative environment for experienced professionals to thrive.Roles/Responsibilities Provide commercial leadership across a portfolio of 50+ live projects. Supervise and support a newly appointed Quantity Surveyor. Collaborate closely with Contracts and Estimating departments. Report directly to the Commercial Director and participate in strategic decision-making. Attend monthly Directors’ meetings to present reports and contribute to operational discussions. Oversee financial efficiency, risk mitigation, and contractual compliance across all projects.Qualifications Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. Strong commercial insight with the ability to manage multiple contracts. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
