Please note - this advert will close once we have received a sufficient number of applications.The role: As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will: Provide expert assessment and evidence-based treatment for individuals with complex neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, spinal cord injury, and progressive neurological disorders. Lead on the planning and delivery of physiotherapy interventions, including specialist respiratory and tracheostomy care, ensuring best practice is embedded across the team. Champion clinical excellence within the physiotherapy service and play a key role in wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) development and innovation. Utilise advanced rehabilitation technologies such as Arm Motus M2 Pro, Wrist Motus, Ankle Motus, Kinestica Equio Balance System and EMG-assisted devices to support functional recovery as part of an integrated neurorehabilitation pathway. Drive service development by initiating and implementing physiotherapy protocols, clinical guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives aligned with patient outcomes. Provide supervision, mentorship, and clinical leadership to junior physiotherapy staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and shared clinical excellence. Build effective relationships with patients, families, carers, and the wider MDT to ensure a cohesive, person-centred approach to rehabilitation.
