Job Title: Mid-Level Backend Developer Salary: 45k - 55k per annum Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 working from home Location: Woking, UK Start Date: ASAP We are currently looking for a Backend Developer to join one of our clients based in Woking. The business is a Content Management System provider mainly working within the Health sector supporting businesses with shipping websites, intranets and self-service secure portals. Key Responsibilities as a Backend Developer: You will be working on developing whole solutions from short term projects (adding features, sorting small fixes) to long term projects from start to finish. Help with their transition by developing integrations between Hermes and features within the Atlas Framework Build and ship customisations Support the team and provide technical i.e thirdline support of the systems Requirements as a Backend Developer: 4 years backend experience with Nodejs, microservices & REST APIs (bonus if you have Kubernetes and Mongo) Strong unit testing background with JEST Youve pushed your own code out to production Be an enthusiastic developer. Someone who can come in and share ideas, support the team but most importantly be able to have fun and work well with the rest of the team. Desired but not essential: Good knowledge of PHP or Java Understanding of server environment i.e Azure Experience with React Knowledge of Web Accessibility or Code Pipelines or continuous integration.
