DP World is looking for multiple Team Leaders to join our team in Minworth. The Team Leader will oversee business operations, delegating tasks to team members and resolving problems that occur on their shift. PM Shift: Mon - Fri 3pm/11pmHow you will contributeEnsure that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently during their assigned shift.Effective communication with customer and suppliersControlling and monitoring warehouse processesPlanning and managing the best use of resourcesMonitoring and controlling work processesMonitoring Health & Safety equipment and useEnsure recording of all accidents / incidents and completion of all relevant documentationAwareness of customer requirementsEnsuring order and cleanliness in areas of responsibilityCompliance with all legal requirements in the area of responsibilityMotivation of staff and leading by exampleEnsuring compliance with SSOW and best practiceSickness / absence monitoring including return to work interviewsPerformance management of staffDaily recording of all necessary information relating to warehouse activitiesStock auditing as required by customerCarrying out Fire Marshal / sweeper process for Fire Evacuations, complete roll call on timesheet.Recognise and implement opportunities to use energy more efficiently, and promote energy saving initiatives within area of responsibilityWhat you will bringExperience in leading a large team.Self-motivated.Good IT knowledge- Excel, Word etc.Job experience in a Tier 1 operation is beneficial (JIT, Sequencing, Packing, Delivery).Able to work in a diverse group of people and be a team player.CompensationDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
