Your work will directly contribute to improving safety, performance, and reliability across the SMR programme. The IMS will contribute towards compliance with Nuclear site licence conditions particularly LC17.Key ResponsibilitiesInitial:To support the Integrated Project Team in establishing, managing and developing the IMS and ensuring that it is delivered to the point of use for all stakeholders, to develop familiarisation and implementation training for the project.To ensure that effective processes are developed and implemented to deliver right first time to and defect free, and in conjunction with the Quality Lead, provide training and put measures in place to support this.To ensure that an effective management system audit programme is in place and delivered to determine the implementation and effectiveness of the IMS.Undertake audits to ensure compliance with the IMS.Develop Suitably Qualified Experienced Person (SQEP) requirements in relation to the IMS.Assist in developing specific project / task quality plansUndertake assurance that the Quality Plan is being followed and that requirements are being metSupport the development of either Project or Business Stream Quality strategies and plans and the implementation of measurement frameworks across the scope of services and full IPT ScopeSupport the Quality team in managing external third party certification bodies and regulators to maintain existing certification and licencing.Provide quality improvement performance measures and recommendations, and share best practice.Develop suitable Key Performance (KPI) Indicators in relation to the IMS and its implementation.Prepare project and/or business quality reports as requiredSupport the delivery of IPT quality programs and actionsAssist in training, coaching & developing quality skills within the IPT.Support the establishment of a continuous improvement culture.Undertake specific investigations and/or report on quality related issues as required.Knowledge, Skills and Experience RequiredExperience of developing IMS/Quality systems within a Nuclear site licence environment.Knowledge of developing and auditing management systems to ISO 9001,14001,45001 and 27001.Knowledge of Nuclear Site Licencing process and licence conditions.Ability to build strong relationships with delivery teams and project managersSubstantial practical experience in quality management in a relevant business environmentExperience of building a quality management framework & KPI measurementAbility to gather, analyse and evaluate factsPays attention to detail and sees things through to completionCan deliver reports orally and written in an objective and persuasive mannerHas good interpersonal and communication skills and acts in an independent and professional manner with the ability to influence others including senior managementIs a self-starter who manages their own time and seeks to add value to their functionHas an enquiring and questioning approach to audit workAble to command respect across the business and work closely with the Business Efficiency teamGood at building relationships and able to influence effectivelyCan demonstrate initiative and resilienceUnderstanding of digital approach to Quality and the use of digital systems to manage an IMSQualificationsLead Auditor certification to ISO 9001 and preferably 14001 and/or 45001Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI)Preferably qualifications in Quality management
