Are you based in or around Leicester?Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.We have a permanent Energy & Carbon Project Manager role available within Holcims National Sustainability Team , based at the Leicester Head Office. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management experience and a passion for energy efficiency, low carbon technologies, and sustainability.Role:Energy & Carbon Project ManagerLocation:Leicester (Head Office) Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home)Rate:55,000+ (based on experience)Contract length:6 Months, potential for extensionShift Patterns:Standard office hours, MondayFridayResponsibilities:Lead the development and delivery of multiple capital (Capex) projects that align with Holcims carbon reduction strategySupport and manage low carbon initiatives from concept through to roll-outProvide operational, technical, and commercial support to various Holcim business unitsDevelop optimal solutions for national Capex sustainability initiativesPrepare and manage project scopes, objectives, business cases, timelines, and budgetsCoordinate internal teams and third parties to ensure seamless project executionTrack project progress using recognised tools and methodologies (e.g. PMA, ProMap, PMM)Provide updates to stakeholders, escalate key issues, and ensure successful project deliveryCollaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure project alignment and impactEssential requirements:Minimum of 5 years experience in project managementProven track record of delivering renewable energy or energy efficiency projectsDegree or Masters in Engineering, Sustainability, or related fieldStrong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skillsKnowledge of project management principles and systemsExperience in industrial contexts (e.g., energy, cement, chemical, refining)Strong focus on safety, cost, and time managementNEBOSH or APM qualifications preferredFamiliarity with co-financed or externally funded projectsDesirable requirements:Driving license and use of a carKnowledge of energy monitoring systems and low carbon technologiesBenefits:Advice and editing on your current CVDedicated team throughout your journey within the rolePaid holidayExclusive online services including restaurant and retail discountsChance to receive 300 for referring a friendOpportunity for progression into permanent rolesCompetitive rates of payDoes this role sound interesting?
