They are looking for an Information Technology Supplier Manager to join the team on an initial contract to the end with the potential to extend. You will be working Monday to Friday, standard office hours, hybrid working being office based 2 days a week at one of the above listed locations. About This Opportunity In the Group Chief Operating Office (GCOO) the Supplier Managers make the difference every day and are fundamental in executing the organisations strategy and delivering upon their purpose. By building strong and long-lasting relationships with suppliers, theyre enabling the organisation to stay ahead of the competition and better serve its customers. They have a real passion for what they do and are growing and significantly investing in their team driving to be the leading supplier management team in the organisation. GCOO Supplier Management manages the relationships with Group wide technology suppliers, who are part of the organisations wider strategy and delivery model. Their close relationships and understanding of the importance of these partnerships to the organisations wider strategic goals help them drive performance and delivery aligned to the contractual requirements. These relationships are critical in delivering resilient and innovative services and solutions to their customers. Theyre looking for a highly motivated individual, who can develop and manage a portfolio of Suppliers, who can work in partnerships both with external providers and internal senior stakeholders to ensure services are resilient, are provided in line with the organisations policies and contract and business expectations. About the role: Specific activities which youll be responsible for include: You will build collaborative relationships with senior internal and external partners Working in collaboration with the business areas, you will ensure your suppliers deliver in line with expectations and drive incremental value and deliver competitive advantage in line with strategic and operational objectives. Responsible for the active management of suppliers and apply the appropriate level of Standards. By utilising data to identify trends, deliver continuous improvements to maximise our value and minimise risk in our supply chain. Act as a source of expertise with your suppliers, providing professional advice to key partners and colleagues. Using your relationship management skills, youll balance holding their supply partners to account for delivering the key services they expect whilst working in partnership to identify continuous additional value. This role reports directly into the Senior Supplier Manager and is part of an established team of supplier managers.
