Freelance Senior Manager Demand GenerationASAP Start400 per day, outside IR35Remote 2-3 months initiallyKey ResponsibilitiesPartner with content and business unit marketers to design and deliver demand generation programs that align with strategic objectives and go-to-market plans.Align all demand generation strategies with broader marketing OKRs and business goals.Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success, product, and general management to ensure consistent messaging and campaign integration.Manage and optimize relationships with external agencies covering SEO, paid media, creative development, and more.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team across campaign execution, performance marketing, and digital strategy.Measure and analyse campaign performance; adjust tactics based on data to drive continuous improvement.Manage the demand generation budget to ensure efficient resource allocation and strong ROI.Stay current on industry trends, marketing technology, and best practices to continually enhance marketing efforts.Skills & Experience Exceptional leadership and team management skills; experience developing marketing teams.Deep knowledge of multi-channel marketing strategies including SEO, SEM, email, social media, and content marketing.Practical experience in programmatic and other ABM approaches.Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.Demonstrated success managing budgets, vendors, and external agency relationships.Organised and results-oriented with experience using tools like Asana, Monday.com, or similar for project/workflow management.Experience & Qualifications710+ years of experience in demand generation or growth marketing roles, ideally within B2B tech/SaaS environments.Proven track record of building and executing successful demand generation programs.Strong background in paid media, including PPC, programmatic, and paid social.Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRMs (e.g., Salesforce).Proficient in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Tableau.Experience with international and European media buying is a strong advantage.Location & Workplace PolicyHybrid working policyIf you would like a confidential chat about this role or your next career move, then please get in contact with me: ellen.omahony@majorplayers.co.uk or connect via LinkedIn: Ellen OMahonyMajor Players are the UKs leading digital, marketing, and creative talent agency, and over the last 30 years weve consistently championed our people and communities.As a proud B Corp, we are committed to improving diversity, equity and inclusion within the industries we service, creating impactful and sustainable change for our partners, candidates and employees.We offer equal opportunities to all candidates regardless of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, age, and other protected status as required by applicable law.
