Orri is an ambitious, young, and fast-growing company committed to changing the way we treat eating disorders in the UK.Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.We are currently seeking a passionate Eating Disorders Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team in our day-care & outpatient services.At the heart of our approach is a commitment to working collaboratively and providing expert, evidence-based and innovative treatment- delivered with kindness and compassion at its core.Role Overview: The Dietitian role at Orri is a key and active part of the clinical team.You will work alongside clinicians to deliver both individual and group sessions and foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.Our model is collaborative, supportive, and client-centred.We work closely with clients to help them grow confidence in their relationship with food as they move forward in their recovery journey.Main duties and responsibilities: Collaborate with the Head of Dietetics to ensure Orri delivers a safe, effective, and compassionate service responsive to clients' individual needs.Conduct assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of nutritional care.Ensure all referrals are recorded and actioned in a timely and efficient manner.Deliver client-centred individual and group interventions using specialist skills to assess, grade, modify, review, and evaluate dietary support and treatment.Demonstrate a sound knowledge of mental health legislation; act as an advocate and information resource for clients, carers an families.Responsible for ongoing audit of client/carer satisfaction with the service.Support continuous improvement in individualised care by applying current research evidence.Remain up to date with relevant health and safety and mental health legislation; ensure compliance with Orri policy.Desired Skills and Expertise: Diploma/Degree in Dietetics.Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.Experience supporting clients with eating disorders.Developed communication and negotiation skills.Experience working with both adults (16), and children/adolescents (CAMHS).Able to work without direct supervision.Hygiene certificate level 2 or 3 (preferable, however this training can be provided).HCPC and BDA registered.Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.Commitment to raising safeguarding concerns in line with Orri's protocols.Benefits: Monday to Friday work pattern.33 days annual leave including bank holidays and the service closure over Christmas (pro rata).Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption package.Comprehensive induction and commitment to ongoing training.Online benefits and cashback rewards schemes.Contributory pension scheme with salary sacrifice options.Free Statutory and Mandatory Training.Free professional development and CPD certified training.Two annual corporate events plus additional social events throughout the year.Career development opportunities.Private health care after successfully completing your probation period.Please note that the salary advertised is pro rata.We are looking for someone that can commit to part-time hours.Orri operates a smoke free policy on all premises and grounds.Orri is an equal opportunities employer.
