We're on the hunt for passionate Dermatology Nurses to join our dermatology outpatient team in Oxford, working alongside top-notch professionals and under the guidance of our fantastic 18 Week Clinical and Nurse Leads.If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.We are passionate about providing the best service whilst working together as part of a close-knit team to tackle the NHSs waiting lists. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse looking to develop their expertise in the anatomy of skin, and contribute to the care of patients with a wide range of skin conditions.Key Responsibilities:Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating plans of patient careTo work closely with the Multi-disciplinary teamPerforming minor dermatology operations, punch biopsies and excisions and ensuring that histology's are followed up.You will be part of the MDT, with medical, nursing and HCA supportTo assist with supporting minor surgical proceduresTo assist with the delivery of a patch testingTo provide wound care and topical treatments, including Doppler and compression bandagingRequirements:Minimum 2 years outpatient experienceMinimum most recent 6 months Dermatology experienceNMC Registered NurseAbout Us:18 Week Support is the leading insourcing provider to the NHS, specializing in clinical demand, capacity management, and waiting list initiatives for both outpatients and day case surgery.
