The business has a strong brand and due to continued expansion, the Directors now wish to recruit a capable and experienced Project Manager to oversee a substantial capital expenditure programme over the next 10 years and beyond.Some of the technical duties and experiences required for success include:Create and develop detailed project plans, define tasks, set schedules, assign resources and oversee the execution of project plans.Co-ordinate the completion of documentation across multiple projects: including requirements, agendas, notes and actions.Co-ordinate site activities with commissioning, technical and site staff.Maintain effective communication with sub-contractors and suppliers.Liaise with the production team to ensure smooth operations and processes.Identify potential risks, assess their impact and develop mitigation strategies to minimise their likelihood and impact.Maintain communication with stakeholders across the business including divisional and Group Boards and senior management, keeping them informed about progress, issues and changes.Monitor project progress, tracking key milestones and take corrective action when necessary to ensure the project is on track and within budget.Responsible for managing each project budget, ensuring it is completed within the allocated resources.Implement quality control processes to ensure that deliverables meet agreed standards.Act as a central point of communication, ensuring that information flows effectively.Ensure all site rules and Health & safety standards are observed.Key personal traits for success include the following:A hands on approach to project management tasksLeading and driving various teams in managing large scale machinery installation projectsAbility to manage relationships with key contacts, including departmental heads and the Group Board and external providers and stakeholdersWell developed communications skillsHighly self motivatedDynamic and assertive personalityAttention to detailTeam orientedService delivery focussedInfluencer and leader, with the ability to bring people on a journeyAn adept relationship builder, who can communicate with clarity and assertiveness whilst building positive relationships with peers, diverse teams & suppliersContinuous improvement mentalityBudget and financial responsibilityIn order to be considered for this role, you will need to be an experienced Project Manager, ideally with some exposure to the quarrying industry and be able to demonstrate proven success to date in leading teams to deliver extensive capital expansion programmes on time and within budget.This is an excellent opportunity to add real value to the companys capital investment programme which spans over the next 10 years and beyond and to assist in delivering their ambitious plans for future growth.
