Town Planning Manager - House buildingIncrease your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.We are working with a leading PLC housebuilder who are looking to strengthen their team with a Planning Manager to manage planning applications for immediate development housing sites and strategic land projects across the Southern region.On offer if a salary of circa 50k - 60k plus package.You will be a town planner with experience of working on planning applications on immediate, development land for housing projects. Youll work with internal teams and external consultants, handling housing applications, experience working on large, multi-phased masterplans for strategic land would also be beneficial but not essentialYoull work closely with the regional land & planning director, with the autonomy to handle your own projects. There is some flexible working on offer for this role.Responsibilities:Manage current and future planning applicationsSupport the land buying team with appraisals for future land purchasesProvide monthly reports to the planning director on projectsStay current with planning policy updates for local authorities in EssexKey experience:Degree qualified and working towards MRTPI qualificationExperience working on planning applications for 50+ unit projectsExperience with large, complex strategic land planning applications would be advantageous but not essential.Solid knowledge of planning policy in the South .This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established PLC house builder with a dynamic team, offering great career development prospects.
