The Company OXBO are working with one of the most exciting international renewable energy (Solar, BESS & Onshore Wind) IPPs, headquartered in the UK to add an experienced Design Manager to their development team.Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for designing large scale solar PV and energy storage systems.Responsibilities The production of high-quality designs and specifications for solar PV and BESS systems.Review and approve our development teams designs, schematics, and layouts, ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations.Coordinating and completing designs primarily using AutoCAD Collaborate with project managers to align design deliverables with project timelines and budgets.Provide technical guidance during the project lifecycle, from initial concept to installation and commissioning.Ensure all designs meet industry standards, local regulations, and health & safety requirements.Act as the primary point of contact for technical queries from clients, suppliers, and internal teams.Requirements Strong technical knowledge of Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to include design principles, components, and grid integration.Strong knowledge of design software including AutoCAD and PVSyst.Knowledge of SCADA and PPCs 5 years of experience in solar PV system design and engineering.HV/LV connection knowledge Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, BS EN).Maintaining documentation accurately and updating QMS.
