As part of their continued growth in the Southwest region, theyre now looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to support existing project delivery and help shape the future of the business.The RoleYoull report directly to the new Head of Projects, working closely with two other Project Managers. This position is designed to act as the HOP right-hand, providing strong technical leadership and helping deliver key mechanical projects across the South and Southwest.This is a long-term opportunity with a clear succession plan in plan, developing into a Head of Projects Role in the future, the successful candidate will be positioned to step into a leadership role themselves.Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of key projects, starting with a large-scale hospital refurbishment in Oxford (new chillers, pipework, crane lifts, etc.)Provide support and mentorship to other PMs across the teamConduct regular site visits, particularly:23 days/week in OxfordOccasional site/client visits in Petersfield London travel as requiredMaintain strong client relationships, including informal check-ins and site walkaroundsEnsure health & safety compliance across all works (SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS required)Deliver projects on time and within budgetAbout You:Minimum 10 years' experience in the mechanical contracting or building services industryTime-served background in a mechanical trade no need for a degree, practical experience is keyStrong technical knowledge across all mechanical systems (heating, ventilation, chilled water, etc.)Confident managing multiple stakeholders and mentoring junior PMsBased in Oxford, Berkshire, Swindon or West London for ease of travelSALARY & PACKAGEUp to 75,000 salary (DOE)5,000 Car Allowance20 Days Holiday + 8 Bank HolidaysPension SchemeLaptop & Mobile PhoneGenuine career progression This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at an exciting time of growth and take a leading role in shaping its future in the region.
