Working closely with structural engineers, project leads, and fellow CAD professionals, youll support a wide range of residential and commercial construction projects.You will: Drawing & Design Support Produce high-quality technical drawings for planning, approval, and construction. Interpret architectural and engineering plans with precision and clarity. Support project handovers by maintaining organised drawing files and documentation. Collaboration & Technical Coordination Work closely with internal teams across structural and architectural disciplines. Participate in project meetings to align on design intent and revisions. Ensure designs meet technical requirements and building regulations. Systems & Process Efficiency Maintain up-to-date project records in internal systems. Contribute to the continuous improvement of drawing standards and workflows. Stay informed of software developments and industry best practices.About You Experience Degree or diploma in Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, or related field. Previous experience in a CAD role or placement year (preferred, not required). Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit, Tekla, or BIM software is a plus. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction documents. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Personal Attributes Clear communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
