Stores Operative Location: Hayes, UK Salary: Up to £28,500 (including shift allowance) Job Type: Full-Time, Rotating Shifts Are you a physically fit and detail-oriented operative ready to work in a fast-paced aircraft parts warehouse? We are looking for a motivated Stores Operative to support efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of critical aircraft parts. Growth Opportunities: Develop skills in warehouse management, LEAN processes, and logistics within the aviation sector.What You'll Be Doing Pick, pack, and return aircraft parts accurately and on time. Manage material issuance and dispatch following procedures. Perform Goods In/Out processing and accurately book spare parts into inventory. Support LEAN projects and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Participate in improvement projects and assist with training when required. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations and policies. Collect and deliver parts and materials around the site as needed.What We're Looking For Experience: Previous warehouse or stores experience preferred; overhead crane and forklift experience desirable. Skills: Basic computer literacy and numeracy. Comfortable using inventory and stock management systems. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive mindset. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to pass background checks for working in a secure environment.Working Conditions Rotating shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, including shift allowance. Physically demanding role involving safe handling of heavy or awkward objects and extensive walking around the site.Ready to Apply?
