The Company is a UK Electronic Money Institution (EMI) that provides e-money services to customers. The company is backed by a considerable and loyal client base and they are expanding their operations in the UK. The Company is in the process of setting up an EMI in the UK. The company is recruiting a Compliance Officer to help them build a world class AML/CFT program that would support their growth plans in the UK. The company is looking for an individual with a solid understanding of e-commerce, processing, acquiring business and risks pertaining to these areas. The ideal candidate should have experience in the field of AML/CFT, possess deep knowledge of relevant legislations in the UK and have a track record of transposing the FCA requirements into practical policies and procedures. Expectations Bachelor in Law, Finance or other relevant major Knowledge of AML/CFT legislations in the UK. Experience in developing AML/CFT, sanction and fraud policies in line with FCA regulations and guidelines. Experience working with regulators Experience with regulatory exams and inquiries Experience in banking industry preferrable Requirements At least 3 years of working experience as a Compliance Officer in payments/acquiring business. Prior experience in attaining UK AEMI license Knowledge of FCA handbook Having multiple AML certificates Anti-money laundering expertise with a focus on UK Money Laundering Regulations Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Excellent communication skills. Tech-savvy and prior exposure to agile working. Availability and permission to work in the UK. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced start up environment.Duties Establishing AML/CFT and Sanction framework. Developing internal policies and procedures.
