Finance Business PartnerFully Remote in UK (occasional travel to Edinburgh/Glasgow) £65,000–£74,000 + benefits12-Month FTC (Potential to Extend)We’re currently hiring a Finance Business Partner on behalf of a leading financial services organisation that’s transforming how it manages investment and project spend.This is a fully remote opportunity offering a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential to extend.The RoleAs a Finance Business Partner, you’ll join a newly formed team created to scrutinize and optimize investment across a portfolio of technology and change initiatives. This team was established following a strategic review, with a mission to identify inefficiencies and maximise return on investment.You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to:Validate and challenge the financials of complex business cases, particularly in tech and cyber security projects.Assess ROI and provide recommendations on project viability.Control budgets, investigate variances, and ensure alignment with forecasts.Report on financial performance across the investment portfolio, including monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis.Support annual budgeting and reforecasting for investment spend.Build strong relationships with project teams to understand delivery milestones and financial implications.What We’re Looking ForQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).Based in Scotland or North of England to be able to travel to Edinburgh/Glasgow when requiredProven experience in financial services and business change environments.Strong background in project finance, especially within technology or software-related initiatives.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Excel and Power BI.Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.Why Apply?Join a high-impact team with visibility at the executive level.Work on meaningful projects that shape strategic investment decisions.Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote role.Competitive salary up to £74,000.1-stage interview process – quick and efficient.
