AVA are partnered with a major IPP in the search for a Senior Solar Design Engineer to lead the in-house design of large-scale solar PV projects - driving optimisation, value engineering, and technical leadership. The role is based in Bristol with a hybrid working model (minimum 3 days per week in the office).Key Responsibilities:Manage and mentor a small technical design teamProduce and sign off high-quality solar layouts and PVSyst yield analysesOptimise designs to EPC build standardsCollaborate cross-functionally with Development, FP&A, and EPC contractorsYour Profile:Engineering degree and 5+ years’ solar design experienceStrong technical and commercial understanding of ground-mounted PV systemsProven team leadership and training experience
