If you are passionate about social media with a head for numbers, are endlessly curious about what makes content fly, and can juggle multiple feeds without dropping the ball, we want to hear from you. This is the perfect job for someone who’s at the start of their career, has some experience and now wants a role they can make their own.This isn’t a corporate comms job. It’s a creative, strategic, sometimes reactive role that sits at the heart of our team. You’ll help define how our shows show up online – from Oh God, What Now? to The Bunker to newer shows like Why? and Crime Scene – working alongside producers, editors, and designers to turn great content into conversations, clicks and listeners. No two days are the same – we move quickly, we react to outside events when we need to and we value people who can handle these changes in pace and direction with coolness and calmness.You’ll have ownership of our social presence, from planning to posting to performance. We’ll look to you to grow our reach and following, track how posts have an impact on downloads and streams and focus single-mindedly on what works.What you'll be doing:· Running day-to-day social across our key shows – planning, scheduling, engaging and tweaking content produced by the team.· Turning podcast and video content into snappy, platform-appropriate clips, threads, carousels and captions· Analysing performance and digging into what’s working (and what’s not) – then making smart recommendations off the back of it· Be the social media expert in-house – understand the various platforms, where we should (and shouldn’t) be and keep up to date with changes and developments.· Spotting moments, trends and stories we should be reacting to· Collaborating with our wider editorial and video teams to feed in platform insights and help shape ideas earlyWhat we’re looking for:· A real passion for politics, podcasting and what’s happening in the world· Experience running social accounts for a brand, a media outlet or even your own personal project (as long as you've made an impact in your niche)· An analytical brain – you’re excited by stats and trends, and you use data to improve results. You can talk to the metrics of each platform and understand why they’re important.· Great instincts for what works on different platforms – and the skills to make it happen fast· You’re fluent in Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X – and keen to test what else might work· Comfort with basic video editing, graphic tools (Canva or Adobe), and captioning platforms.
