This role does not offer sponsorship.As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Nurture Teacher to join our close-knit team at Reddish Hall School,part of Acorn Education.About The RoleThe teacher is responsible for high quality teaching to ensure the effective delivery of the schools curriculum. The ideal candidate will successfully set a vision and targets for pupil success and be confident in using their knowledge and expertise to monitor progress, give regular feedback and encouraging our young people to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.Plan and teach well-structured lessons, following the schools plans, curriculum and schemes of work Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils, making accurate and productive use of assessment Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge Participate in arrangements for preparing pupils for external tests To lead the learning of a group of pupils who experience a range of needs and challenges (primarily social, emotional and behavioural)EssentialUK QTS or equivalent Teaching Qualification or relevant experience Successful Primary or Secondary or SEN teaching experience Commitment to continuing professional development Experience of co-ordinating the work of support staff and/or other members of staff.About UsReddish Hall School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 5 to 18, catering for pupils with social emotional and mental health difficulties, with a high proportion of pupils who have a diagnosis of ASC.Our dedicated team work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.We pride ourselves in steering pupils in the right direction, nurturing aspiration to progress them both academically and socially to encourage them to take pride in their achievements.
