This includes links to community provision such as AA, NA, SMART and other service user engagement forums.Along with the main duties and responsibilities as described in the job description, the successful candidate will:Share all duties and tasks with our current experienced Building Recovery in the Communities Coordinator (BRICC) Support from North East regional BRICC network Complete a comprehensive training package including bespoke HMP Frankland training The role will include working closely with our partners including prison and probation staff; healthcare and mental health staff; and many other agencies to ensure a bespoke package of care for each individual. You will be able to:Enable a comprehensive offer of peer led interventions and opportunities within a designated establishment/s ensuring visible recovery and the voice of lived experience is accessible for all service users across Reconnected to Health. Work collaboratively with Reconnected to Health colleagues to implement, deliver and maintain a structured mentoring programme within the establishment/s, including effective recruitment and training, risk management, supervision and support and progression for mentors across the partnership. Also linking with establishment programmes such as PIDS and Listeners. Promote service user and peer led interventions, both structured and informal, to build and sustain an active peer led recovery community within the establishment/s. Support service users to develop a timetable of peer led activities, groups and sessions that reflect the interests and priorities of the men/women resident in the establishment, working closely with Reconnected to Health and establishment colleagues to safely and effectively enable delivery of the timetable. This may include mutual aid groups but also mainstream activities. To plan and deliver a range of events and campaigns that actively involve men/women with the establishment promoting peer led opportunities, health and wellbeing initiatives and celebrating recovery.
