Typical Duties:Installation:Installing new gas appliances like boilers, cookers, and fires.Maintenance:Servicing, repairing, and maintaining existing gas systems.Fault Finding:Diagnosing and repairing faults in gas appliances and heating systems.Safety Checks:Conducting safety inspections and issuing gas safety certificates.Customer Service:Providing advice to customers on gas safety and energy efficiency, and potentially offering additional cover options.Emergency Response:Responding to emergency calls related to gas leaks and breakdowns.Qualifications and Requirements:Gas Safe Registered Engineer:Holding a valid Gas Safe license is mandatory for all gas engineers in the UK, according to Gas Safe Registry.Accredited Training:Completion of accredited training courses and qualifications in gas engineering.Practical Experience:Demonstrated experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing gas appliances.Relevant Qualifications:Qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Gas Engineering or equivalent may be required.Knowledge of Regulations:A thorough understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and safety procedures.Customer Communication Skills:Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining work procedures and providing advice.Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to gas systems.Health and Safety Awareness:A strong understanding of health and safety procedures and risk assessments related to gas work.Experience:RequiredLanguages:English – AdvancedEmployment:Part-timeSalary:£2,000 – £3,000 monthlyBenefits:Paid per Job, Sub Contract or EmployedAbout Heat Guard Assurance:We at Heat Guard Assurance offer many benefits, including: - Work when you want - Work where you want - Earn how you want!!!#J-18808-Ljbffr
