We're looking for a passionate and experienced Chef Manager to oversee the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a vibrant educational setting. ?? About the Role: As Chef Manager, you'll lead a dedicated kitchen team to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals that support student wellbeing and academic success. You'll manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and create a welcoming dining experience. ?? Key Details: Salary: 34,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) Contract: Term time only (approx. 39 weeks per year) Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner service ?? Responsibilities: Plan and prepare seasonal, balanced menus Lead and motivate the kitchen team Ensure food hygiene and health 'safety compliance Manage stock, ordering, and kitchen budgets Build strong relationships with school staff and pupils ?? About You: Proven experience in a similar role (e.g., Chef Manager, Head Chef) Strong leadership and kitchen management skills Passion for fresh, nutritious food and child-friendly meals Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 (or willingness to obtain) Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) ??
