Internal Communications and Events Officer About the Role: Are you a confident communicator with a flair for organising impactful events? Do you enjoy creating engaging content that connects people and brings values to life? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you. Were looking for an Internal Communications and Events Officer to join our Marketing & Communications team on a 15-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave . In this varied and rewarding role, youll help ensure our colleagues are informed, engaged, and inspired by delivering creative internal communications and memorable events. From employee updates to team celebrations, community days to business expos, youll support initiatives that strengthen our culture and raise our profile. What you''ll be doing: Creating engaging internal communications and supporting Society-wide updates Managing key channels such as our intranet, internal emails and digital screens Planning and delivering events that connect colleagues and communities Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to bring events to life Managing budgets and third-party suppliers to ensure quality and value Monitoring feedback and outcomes to continuously improve our communications What were looking for: Excellent written and verbal communication skills A creative and proactive mindset Experience planning and delivering events Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills Confidence working across multiple communication channels Why Join Us?
