Job Title: Private Family Paralegal Location: Manchester (City Centre) Salary: Competitive, Dependent on Experience (DOE) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Overview: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Private Family Paralegal to join a reputable and well-established private client law firm based in Manchester . This is a rewarding and fast-paced role, ideally suited to a paralegal with demonstrable experience in divorce, financial remedies, and prenuptial agreements . The successful candidate will support senior fee earners and partners on a high-quality caseload of family matters involving HNW clients, offering exposure to both complex and sensitive issues. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with and managing a varied caseload of private family matters including: Divorce proceedings Financial remedy applications Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements Preparing and drafting court documents, bundles, witness statements, and correspondence Conducting legal research and liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties Supporting fee earners in the day-to-day progression of files and attending client meetings Maintaining accurate case management and adhering to deadlines Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience as a paralegal in a family law setting Strong working knowledge of divorce law, financial remedy proceedings, and prenups Excellent organisational and communication skills A high level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters Ability to work autonomously and as part of a close-knit team Whats on Offer: Competitive salary package based on experience Supportive and collegiate working environment Opportunity to work on high-profile and high-value private family cases Central Manchester office with hybrid working potential This role is ideal for a motivated paralegal who is passionate about private family law and looking to take the next step in their legal career.
