As we scale, we are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Finance Manager to take ownership of our financial operations and partner directly with the CEO in shaping a financially sound and data-led business. Role Overview: As the Finance Manager, you will be the sole internal finance lead, working closely with the CEO and our external bookkeeper and accountants. Youll manage forecasting, cash flow, and reporting while ensuring robust financial controls and the integrity of financial data. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and wants to make a real impact. Key Responsibilities: Cash Flow & Financial Planning: Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts. Manage daily cash balances and cash movement across accounts. Identify and report risks, variances, and opportunities. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Deliver weekly business performance reports with key metrics and insights. Review and analyse monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets. Support budgeting and forecasting processes to guide strategic decisions. Collaboration with External Partners: Liaise with external accountants on financial statements, tax filings, and compliance. Work alongside an external bookkeeper to ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping. Coordinate monthly and year-end close processes. Internal Controls & Data Integrity: Implement and maintain strong financial controls and processes. Oversee invoicing, payment cycles, bank reconciliations, and financial records. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all finance systems and reports. Requirements: Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in an SME, retail, or e-commerce environment. Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow principles. Advanced skills in financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting. Experience working with external accountants and bookkeepers. High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity. Self-starter comfortable working independently and reporting directly to a CEO. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; experience with cloud-based systems is a plus. ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent experience preferred.
