Im hiring for a Python developer to join a cracking team at one of our key clients a Manchester-based tech business thats gone from strength to strength.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Theyve got teams in the EU and US, and after successfully baking AI/ML into their products, theyre now looking for a solid backend engineer to help take things to the next level.The Role in a Nutshell: We need someone who lives and breathes Python, can write proper testable code (Pytest/PyUnit is your bread and butter), and fancies picking up some infrastructure skills along the way.Its not a DevOps role were after a developer first and foremost but if youve tinkered with Terraform or fancy learning, even better.Must-Haves: Strong, modern Python skills (backend focus) Hands-on with AWS (S3, CI/CD the usual suspects) Proper testing chops (Pytest/PyUnit or similar) Keen to mentor junior devs on good practice Nice-to-Haves: Some Terraform/IaC knowledge (we can help with this) Played with ML tools (TensorFlow/PyTorch) E-commerce/retail background (not essential) The Deal: Join a growing team at a proper tech success story Mostly Python work with room to grow your IaC skills Hybrid working (2 days a week in Manchester) Sorry, no visa sponsorship If this sounds up your street and you can get to Manchester a couple of days a week, give me a shout for a proper chat.
