Our distance-selling model ensures patients receive top-tier care through our advanced tech-driven services and customer support team.Career Growth with Purpose While your role will be within a highly-skilled team of pharmacists and will primarily focus on core pharmacist responsibilities, it also offers the opportunity to eventually transition into a more dedicated role within our expanding Weight Clinic services, supporting specialist care and personalised patient treatment.Main ResponsibilitiesThe Role:Patient Safety, Quality and StandardsDeliver regulatory, professional and NHS standards developing a culture of continual improvementMeet the GPhC or PSNI standards for registered professionals for all areas, including premisesSupport the delivery of all quality standards required by the NHSContinual review through audits, observations & risk assessmentsResponsible for legal & ethical decisions in the pharmacy and communicating effectively with both internal and external healthcare professionalsDelivering CareDriving innovative services, participating fully in NHS and private services whilst providing outstanding care to all patientsResponsible for the clinical and accuracy assessment of prescriptions & engaging patients in shared decision making by working collaboratively with the Customer Service TeamCollaborates with PCNs and LPCs, working to improve patient health & prevent patient harmEnsures that they engage the team to personally offer tailored advice & products for prevention, treatment and wellbeing of patients & customersHigh Performance TeamSupports the Digital Pharmacy Operations Manager and Lead Pharmacists in the development of a team of trained & motivated colleagues who have the capability and are empowered to deliver excellent patient & customer careConstantly seeks opportunities to develop their own skills & competence, striving to operate at the top of their licenseSupports with the effective training of the team so that they achieve the required level of competence & achieve qualifications within set timeframesGeneralSupport our Delivering Well strategy through alignment of pharmacy activity to corporate strategyThe Ideal CandidateKey knowledge and skills required for the role:Qualified & registered with the GPhC or PSNIExcellent communication & consultation skillsEffective coaching skillsStrong planning & organisational ability able to manage conflicting prioritiesAble to build & maintain highly effective relationships with internal & external stakeholdersExcellent professional network through building relationships based on mutual trustProblem Solving & Change:Has sound decision making abilitiesIs adept at identifying problems & devising solutions which are based on sound analysisIs a change-agent who actively embraces & consistently drives change across the PharmacyAble to influence stakeholders on matters relating to their area of responsibilityAble to understand the changing Pharmacy landscape & likely impact on the businessWell are proud to be a diverse and inclusive employer.
