Technical Support Specialist Heavy Plant A major dealership specialising in Heavy Plant are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to provide specialised technical support and guidance on a range of Heavy Plant machinery. Role: Technical Support Specialist Area: Cambridge or Midlands Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 benefits Whats on Offer: High rate pension contribution 25 days annual leave Bank Holidays Cycle to Work Scheme Life Assurance Financial/Physical/Mental Health Counselling and Coaching sessions Free Will writing service EAP, which includes 24/7 Doctor access Healthshield Family Friendly policies Company events The requirements of the Technical Support Specialist will be: As Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing aftermarket product quality issues, overseeing technical applications for product lines and assisting in fault diagnosis activities Maintain an efficient technical help desk Compile evidence to drive quality improvements and service fixes Contribute to new product introductions and analysis Conduct site and customer visits for technical support The ideal candidate for Technical Support Specialist will be: Hold a recognised Apprenticeship NVQ 3 or equivalent in Construction Equipment or an Engineering based field Experience in a similar technical role in the heavy plant industry Technical engineering background and high levels of knowledge within the Construction Industry.
