Fabricator / Welder Full-Time | Permanent | £15.27 – £16.97 per hour + Overtime + Benefits Location: Based in Hull, with occasional travel required Our client is a established and growing engineering business is seeking a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join its experienced workshop team. The company specialises in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of bespoke mechanical equipment for a diverse range of sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional, close-knit team where no two days are the same. From structural fabrications to heavy-duty mechanical systems, the role offers exposure to a variety of projects and long-term progression for the right individual. What You’ll Be Doing: * Fabricating and welding a wide range of bespoke mechanical equipment * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Using MIG and MMA welding techniques (experience with other methods beneficial) * Completing hot works and fabrication tasks to a high standard * Occasionally working away on site (expenses and accommodation fully covered) * Working both independently and as part of a team What We’re Looking For: * Qualifications in Fabrication and/or Welding * Proven experience in a similar fabrication role * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on your own initiative * A diligent, safety-conscious approach to your work * Full, clean UK driving licence * Willingness to learn and take on new challenges * Flexible approach to travel and site work when required What’s On Offer: * £15.27 per hour minimum (workshop-based), £16.97 per hour when working away * Overtime available: * Weekdays & Saturdays @ time and a half * Sundays & Bank Holidays @ double time * 40-hour work week: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm * 6-monthly bonus scheme * 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (with additional days accrued over time) * Pension scheme * Paid expenses and accommodation when working away * Continuous training and development opportunities across various sectors and equipment * Can offer tempoary, FTC or permanent contracts.
