Everybody in the Currie & Brown family, no matter how experienced they are, plays their own unique part in our success and have fun along the way.The role what is it we would like you to do?Currie & Brown is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager in Plymouth.Your core duties will involveSupport the project lead in managing the design and construction phases of the design and fit-out of multi-sited projectsLiaise with multiple stakeholders from the client and customer teams including, property services, designers, contractors, FM and building management and security consultantsLead the coordination of the design of the customer fit-out against the clients design guides and constraintsDelivering projects, commissions and professional assignmentsAssuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team playerMaintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial controlAssisting with commercial management servicesDelivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely mannerProviding support to the team leader/service leaders in cost management of projectsRepresenting the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationshipsWhat skills and attributes are we looking for from you:Technical delivery experience gained within the construction industryGood technical writing, client-facing and communication skillsWell-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astuteA team player with a can-do attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexibleBSc in construction management, architecture, building surveying or equivalentExperience in the education sector environment would be advantageousExperience of fit-out projectsRisk management qualifications or experienceWhy choose Currie & Brown?Unlike some businesses, we prioritise for the long term and honour our commitments.
