This is a great opportunity for you to join our excellent Nursery and play a key role at this exciting time of change at Buxlow School.We are looking for a Nursery Manager who can be influential in the progress and development of our nursery at this exciting growth stage that will see Buxlow nursery expanding to become a standalone nursery that can accommodate pupils from 6 month upwards. You will play a key role in the development of our pupils, ensuring a happy and successful start to their education journey. Prior nursery manager experience is essential for this role. You will be heavily involved in the day to day running of the nursery as well as financial operations, recruitment, training and development of staff.At Buxlow Nursery we provide a stimulating environment. The successful candidate should be passionate about childrens learning and able to enhance our pupils learning.We are looking for a fantastic Nursery Manager who can;Demonstrate excellent practice in delivering the early years curriculumPromote the values of the nursery to all staff, parents and childrenDevelop and maintain excellent working relationships with all staffMaintain accurate records including occupancy to ensure growth and developmentTrain and develop all staff to fulfil their potentialWe are looking for you as our Nursery Manager to be able to demonstrate the following qualifications & experiences:Full and relevant Childcare qualification, ideally at Level 5 (NVQ5, EYTS, QTS, B.ed or above)Have recent and relevant post qualification experience within a childcare settingGreat passion for child development and a good working knowledge of the EYFS 0-5 years curriculum.Experience of working in a Management role, mentoring and leading staffExcellent knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted statutory guidanceKnowledge of child protection and safeguardingKnowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunitiesAbility to deliver a high standard of childcareExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work productively with pupils, colleagues, parents and outside agenciesExcellent planning, organising and time management skillsA fantastic understanding for how a Nursery works.Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively in a teamAs our Nursery manager you will be leading an excellent team of practitioners, you will have autonomy to progress the nursery and be instrumental in creating a high quality setting where all children can thrive.
