As Events Manager, you will spearhead the execution of our venue strategy - with responsibility across client management, procurement/suppliers, planning, resourcing, budgets and compliance. Youll work closely with the Sales Manager, who will focus on business development and deal conversion, handing to you for delivery. Youll be part of a cross-functional Huckletree team, which will brand and position 40 Leadenhall as the leading premium events space in London.Key Responsibilities.....This is a great role if you thrive in creating, defining and executing events strategy. Were looking for an ambitious, energetic, and bold professional, to focus on the following:Strategy:Develop and manage the events strategy, aligned with business goals.Lead the successful delivery of high-profile events from planning through to delivery.Create and implement event marketing strategies, in collaboration with the Marketing team.Multi-stakeholder management, including internal, building/venue leadership, compliance partners and suppliers.Ensure you are continually researching the market and trends, and bringing that back into Huckletree to help inform future strategy.Continuously seeks ways to improve event processes, technology and strategy.Account management:Responsibility for end-to-end client management, from enquiry to event execution.Turn client briefs into amazing ideas and highly effective events.Foster and develop client relationships, promoting ongoing retention and business development opportunities.Maximise additional commercial, revenue and creative opportunities within each event.Execution and operations:Manage event budgets, ensuring targets, cost-efficiency and RoI.Oversee all aspects of pre-event planning and organisation.On the day of event operations management, including logistics and staff resourcing/allocation.Manage a team of event professionals, identifying and facilitating development opportunities to ensure strategic and personal goals are met.Ensure the highest levels of hospitality and customer services at events, focused on training and capability building.Drive operational efficiencies, by introducing and integrating systems and processes.Suppliers and procurement:Source and manage key suppliers base and partnerships, ensuring compliance, SLAs and terms.Differentiating the venue and seeking optimum value and RoI.Research new suppliers and trends, aligned to bespoke requirements of events.Compliance and reporting:Evaluate event feedback, and produce reports with recommendations for future improvements.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments and sustainability.Ensure compliance with brand standards at every touchpoint.Lead risk management planning, on-site execution and crisis response for major events.Who we are looking for.....A strong track record of creating and delivering premium and complex events, ideally with corporate/professional clients.Equally comfortable working on planning and strategy as you are on hands-on delivery.Highly organised, with ability to plan multiple events at one time.Ability to develop effective processes and system, that support successful events strategy.High levels of stakeholder management, both internally and externally.Able to manage and organise teams and resources, both pre-event and on the day of.Strong work ethic, used to working in a demanding environment.Collaborative, strong team player, works at pace, and able to embrace ambiguity and change.Highly credible and used to influencing at senior level.
