Based: Head Office, Severn Beach, ability to carry out overseas travel away from home for extended periods is essential.Main responsibilities:Conduct supplier audits in the UK, EU and other source countries in line with relevant GFSI, customer, Bart and Fuchs Gruppe food safety, quality and sustainability standardsConducting opening meetings to outline the audit process and champion the Bart Food Safety and Quality Culture to our suppliersConduct robust and insightful audits, preparing audit reports and executive summaries of audits and delivering your findings to colleaguesConduct audits onsite at source, and remotely if requiredMaintain and develop positive relationships with the suppliers to identify potential business development opportunitiesCollaborative working with Bart and Fuchs Gruppe colleagues, as well as other key supply chain stakeholdersKeep up to date with current UK/GB/EU legislation.Person specification/qualifications/capabilities:Qualified (including BRCGS, FSSC22000) and competent lead auditor has a good level of knowledge and experience of auditing food manufacturing sites, as well as agricultural and postharvest practicesExtensive food industry knowledge and a strong understanding of best practices.
